Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rocky Mountain Car Transports. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, booking transportation services, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Our Services

Rocky Mountain Car Transports provides vehicle transportation coordination and shipping services throughout the United States. We work with licensed and insured carriers to arrange the transportation of vehicles between designated pickup and delivery locations.

All transportation services are subject to carrier availability, route accessibility, weather conditions, and other operational factors.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Rocky Mountain Car Transports are based on the information supplied by the customer, including vehicle details, transport type, pickup location, delivery location, and desired shipping dates.

Pricing may change if:

  • Vehicle information is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Pickup or delivery locations change
  • Transport requirements change
  • Market conditions significantly fluctuate
  • Additional services are requested

Quotes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until a shipment has been scheduled and confirmed.

3. Booking and Payment

By booking our services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your vehicle and shipment requirements.

Payment terms may vary depending on the service selected and carrier requirements. Customers agree to pay all agreed-upon fees associated with the transportation service.

Failure to make required payments may result in delays, cancellation of services, or additional fees.

4. Vehicle Preparation

Customers are responsible for preparing their vehicles before transport.

Before pickup, customers should:

  • Remove all personal belongings
  • Ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition unless disclosed as non-operational
  • Disable alarms if applicable
  • Secure or remove loose accessories
  • Maintain approximately one-quarter tank of fuel
  • Provide accurate vehicle condition information

Rocky Mountain Car Transports is not responsible for personal items left inside vehicles.

5. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery dates are estimated and are not guaranteed. Transportation schedules may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic delays
  • Mechanical issues
  • Road closures
  • Carrier scheduling changes
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Customers agree to be available or have an authorized representative present during both pickup and delivery inspections.

6. Vehicle Inspection

A vehicle inspection will be conducted at pickup and delivery. Existing vehicle damage will be documented on the Bill of Lading.

Customers should carefully review inspection reports and notify the carrier immediately of any concerns regarding vehicle condition.

Failure to note potential issues at delivery may limit the ability to file claims regarding transport-related damage.

7. Insurance Coverage

Vehicles transported through our network are covered by the carrier’s insurance policy during transit, subject to the carrier’s terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.

Customers are encouraged to maintain their own vehicle insurance coverage during transportation.

Rocky Mountain Car Transports does not provide additional insurance beyond the coverage offered by the assigned carrier unless otherwise stated.

8. Cancellation Policy

Customers may request cancellation of a shipment before pickup.

Cancellation fees may apply depending on:

  • The timing of the cancellation
  • Carrier assignment status
  • Administrative costs already incurred

Please contact our customer support team for specific cancellation information related to your booking.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rocky Mountain Car Transports shall not be liable for delays, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Road closures
  • Government actions
  • Mechanical failures
  • Labor disputes
  • Carrier delays

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Prohibited Items
